CameroonONE was featured at the Idaho Nonprofit Center's Annual Conference this week in Boise, Idaho. The INC Conference is the premier event for Idaho nonprofit leaders to address critical issues and opportunities in the nonprofit sector. CameroonONE projects were highlighted during the session, Grant Writing: Strategizing for Social Change led by Dr Kathleen McDonald.
Grant Writing: Strategizing for Social Change was an opportunity for grant writers and nonprofit staff and administrators to examine components and strategies effective in writing a successful grant proposal. The lecture had a focus on bringing about and documenting ‘real change'; an emphasis on describing perceived needs and inequities in a manner that strengthens the voice of the nonprofit; and how to address sustainability, long-term solutions, build relationships, influence key decision makers and engage cross sectors.
Dr McDonald is certified in governance training and nonprofit board consulting (BoardSource) and currently teaches Grant Writing, Revenue for Nonprofits and Volunteer Management as an adjunct professor in the Nonprofit Management Minor at Boise State University after a 40-year career that spanned multiple sectors of nonprofit organizations. Her mission is to strengthen the capacity of organizations to be successful and effective in accomplishing what they set out to do.
Thank you Dr McDonald and the Idaho Nonprofit Center for including CameroonONE this year's annual conference!
