SHOE DISTRIBUTION- BAMENDA, CAMEROON
Over 300 million children worldwide are without shoes, and the number of barefoot orphaned children in Sub-Saharan Africa is above 20 million. For many in developing nations, having a pair of shoes is a rarity and leads to serious health conditions, parasitic infections, ulcers and worse. Shoes prevent the spread of hookworm that plagues over 1.4 billion people worldwide, are a required part of a school uniform in Cameroon, and A BASIC HUMAN NECESSITY. Here are some of our students receiving their new shoes last week. Thank you again to our supporters; it is your generosity that allows us to continue to provide our children with such essentials!
